We're hiring a licensed founding team member to help launch Hearth Comfort in Shaker Heights.
The Opportunity
Hearth Comfort is a new residential home services company based in Shaker Heights, Ohio. We're building a one-call brand for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical — with a direct-hire, in-house team. We do not use outside contractors or third-party subcontractors.
We're looking for a licensed journeyman or master tradesperson to join as a founding lead technician or early team member — on payroll, in uniform, building the company from the ground up.
What Hearth Comfort Brings
- Brand, website, and local marketing (Shaker Heights & communities east of Cleveland)
- Customer acquisition — Google, referrals, van wraps, neighborhood presence
- Tools and equipment for the field
- Business operations — scheduling, invoicing, customer communication
- Long-term growth — more neighborhoods, more of Ohio, and room to grow into the business
- A founder committed to building something lasting, not a quick side gig
What We're Looking For
- Valid Ohio OCILB license (HVAC, plumbing, or electrical) — or on track to earn one; we can help sponsor and support licensing costs for the right candidate
- Residential experience; communities east of Cleveland / older homes a plus
- Pride in workmanship and customer communication
- Interest in building a company as part of our team, not picking up outside subcontract work

We are launching in Shaker Heights and communities east of Cleveland, but the brand is designed to expand into more neighborhoods across the Cleveland area, throughout Ohio, and beyond.
This is a chance to grow into the business, not just work for it today. As Hearth Comfort scales, committed team members can step into leadership and eventually own an area — running a territory, building a local crew, and sharing in the success of a market we develop together.
